While new players are just beginning to explore the game mechanics of Hades 2, they may encounter difficulties in finding certain resources for crafting upgrades. In this short guide, we will help you find Driftwood.
Driftwood is one of the important resources in the game during the later stages, needed for unlocking upgrades in the cauldron and enhancing weapon aspects. No special tool like a shovel or pickaxe is required to collect these wooden pieces. The main challenge is the quantity of driftwood obtained and the location where this resource can be collected.
Driftwood can be found in the Thessalian Rift location, on the ship with ghosts and harpies. Access is unlocked after defeating the cyclops on the alternative route to Olympus. Driftwood appears randomly here and there. Pay close attention to ensure nothing is left on the level after defeating enemies. The resource can also appear near Charon and in the boss-octopus arena.
Driftwood is needed to unlock spells in the cauldron, River Crossing Rite and Desert Life Source. The first one unlocks a fishing spot, and the second one allows you to randomly enter a rest area with a fountain in the Thessalian Rift.
Driftwood is also useful for unlocking new weapon aspects, upgrading, and crafting a fishing rod for catching fish.
