All resources in Hades 2: reagents, flora, and indulgences

In Hades 2, you can craft spells, unlock new weapons and tools, and gain access to new abilities during your run. You will need a whole array of various resources to unlock each item and upgrade in the game.

All of them are divided into three categories: reagents, flora, and indulgences. We've compiled all the resources for you, divided into lists, with tips on where to find them.

All reagents

Reagents can be rewards for completing challenges, can be bought from the cursed trader, or gathered in special locations using tools.

  • Bonesβ€” can be spent to purchase materials from the cursed trader. Collected in battles in Erebus and beyond. Can also be very rarely bought from Charon for coins. If you use a weapon with the Insatiable Thirst property (the weapon pulses with dark purple energy in the hub before the run), you will get a bonus amount of bones;
  • Ashβ€” a common reward for battles in Erebus and beyond. Can be bought from the trader for 15 bones;
  • Willβ€” a common reward for battles in Erebus and beyond. Can be bought from the cursed trader for 30 bones. In some locations, you can catch lost shadows with the help of a pet toad or the calming tablet tool;
  • Moirae's Cloth β€” Can be bought from the cursed trader for 60 bones. Sometimes can be obtained from Arachne, a small spider that gives dresses with various effects and armor reserve.
  • Silverβ€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits on the surface near Ephyra. Can be a reward from Narcissus (random encounter, Ocean location);
  • Limestoneβ€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits in the Ocean;
  • Obsidianβ€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits in the Fields of Sorrow;
  • Marble β€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits in Tartarus;
  • Iron β€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits in the Thessalian Rift;
  • Bronze β€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits on the surface near Ephyra;
  • Plasma β€” mined with a pickaxe from deposits in the realm of Chaos;
  • Soot β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of Erebus;
  • Pearl β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of the Ocean;
  • Tears β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of the Fields of Sorrow;
  • Star Sand β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of Tartarus;
  • Wool β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of Ephyra;
  • Golden Apple β€” reward for defeating the Keeper of the Thessalian Rift;
  • Darkness β€” can be gathered without tools in the realm of Chaos. Rarely found;
  • Shadow β€” a unique resource, created by a recipe in the cauldron. The required recipe is Extraction of Darkness;
  • Moon Dust β€” can be obtained in the cauldron by the alchemical recipe Moon Infusion from Shadow or Moon Infusion from Stars. Can be bought from the cursed trader for 80 bones;
  • Star Dust β€” can be obtained for completing Chaos tasks in the Stone of Pitch Darkness or bought from the cursed trader for 800 bones;
  • Nightmare β€” can be obtained for completing Chaos tasks, appearing in the Oath of the Unseen. Can also be bought from the cursed trader for 1000 bones;
  • Trash β€” can be gathered near Eris, located on the left side of the Crossroads. During the cleanup, she may throw additional trash in front of you (no manners!).

Flora

The flora in Hades 2 is quite diverse. It includes hand-picked flowers and mushrooms, as well as seeds that can be dug up at excavation sites (mounds, where you can use a tool) for further cultivation in the garden beds at the Crossroads (the central location where the cauldron and most of the characters are).

  • Mothβ€” can be picked without tools during a run in Erebus;
  • Berserk Grass β€” can be grown from berserk grass seeds;
  • Berserk Grass Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites in Erebus;
  • Toadstoolβ€” can be picked without tools during rain in Erebus;
  • Mysterious Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at rare excavation sites in various regions. Can be gifted when choosing the Rich Harvest boon.
  • Lotusβ€” can be picked without tools during a run in the Ocean;
  • Cattail β€” can be grown from cattail seeds;
  • Cattail Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites in the Ocean;
  • Myrtleβ€” can be picked without tools in the Fields of Sorrow;
  • Wheat β€” can be grown from wheat seeds;
  • Wheat Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites in the Fields of Sorrow;
  • Shadow Mold β€” can be picked without tools in Tartarus;
  • Poppy β€” can be grown from poppy seeds;
  • Poppy Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites in Tartarus;
  • Moss β€” can be picked without tools near Ephyra;
  • Garlic β€” grows from garlic cloves;
  • Garlic Cloves β€” obtained with a silver shovel on the surface near Ephyra;
  • Driftwood β€” can be picked without tools in the Thessalian Rift;
  • Mandrake Rootβ€” can be grown from mandrake seeds;
  • Mandrake Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites near the Thessalian Rift;
  • Thalamus β€” a unique resource from the realm of Chaos. Can be grown from source seeds;
  • Source Seeds β€” obtained with a silver shovel at excavation sites in the realm of Chaos.

All Indulgences

Indulgences are needed to improve relationships with characters and to deliver items using Charon's service. Most of them can be bought from the Cursed Trader. He becomes available after casting the Summon Commodity Abundance spell.

  • Nectar β€” a rare reward for winning a battle in Erebus and beyond. Can also be bought from the Cursed Trader (price 30 bones). Very rarely found in Charon's assortment;
  • Bath Salts β€” can be bought from the Cursed Trader over time (price 50 bones). Extremely rarely can be accidentally dug up with a silver shovel at rare excavation sites in various regions;
  • Ambrosia β€” bought from the Cursed Trader (price 500 bones);
  • Witch's Delight β€” can be crafted using the Pet Treat recipe in the cauldron after unlocking the Familiars' Trust spell;
  • Obol Receipt β€” issued every time you spend a total of one thousand of Charon's coins.
