Best Armor in 7 Days to Die
In the world of 7 Days to Die, survival is a key factor for successfully progressing through the game. One of the critical elements for ensuring the character's safety is choosing the right armor. In this guide, we will look at the best armor in 7 Days to Die and its features.
Armor in 7 Days to Die
Armor sets include four parts: helmet, clothing, gloves, and footwear. Each of these parts has a unique effect. If you wear all four elements of one set, you can get a significant bonus. Effects and bonuses depend on the level of the armor. The bonus amount is determined by the level of the weakest part of the set. For example, if you have three elements of level 4 and one element of level 2, the bonus will correspond to level 2.
Each armor category has its strengths and weaknesses:
- Light armor does not reduce Stamina, Mobility, and does not increase noise level (similar to Cloth Armor in versions before 1.0).
- Medium armor offers a higher degree of protection compared to light armor but reduces Stamina and Mobility parameters and also increases noise level. The Medium Armor skill in the Agility branch helps to mitigate these drawbacks.
- Heavy armor provides the highest protection among all types but significantly reduces Stamina and Mobility and increases noise. The Heavy Armor skill in the Strength branch helps to reduce these negative effects (similar to Scrap, Iron, or Steel Armor in versions before 1.0).
All equipment can reach a maximum level of 6, but it is no longer available from Traders or as loot. Instead, these items are crafted from a large amount of common materials and a special Legendary Component. The bonus characteristics of level 6 armor parts often provide twice the bonuses compared to level 5 armor.
Additionally, each armor part in the game has a rating that indicates the percentage damage reduction: for example, an armor rating of 5 means you will receive 5% less damage when wearing it. The total Armor Rating is the sum of all worn armor parts, and the result can be seen in the character's stats menu. The Armor Rating can vary slightly. Let's take a look at the best armor in the game.
