An animated short film based on The Witcher has been released on YouTube

French animators from Lihtar Studio published a fan tribute (video) on YouTube based on the Witcher novel series. The short film is dedicated to the story «A Grain of Truth,» in which Geralt met the half-bear Nivellen.

According to the plot of the story by Andrzej Sapkowski, the witcher wandered along the highway until he discovered the bodies of people near one of the roads. Wanting to find out what caused their death, he wandered into the estate of Nivellen, a cursed robber turned into a monster.

The animation authors promised that in the future they would share other works based on the Witcher universe. They have not yet announced whether this will be the full version of the series.
