Klei Entertainment, known for Don't Starve, has launched early access to their new project called Rotwood. It's a colorful roguelike where players (and their friends in co-op) must battle creatures from a mutated forest.
This time, the focus is on diverse combat mechanics. The developers offer a variety of weapons, bonuses, and abilities that allow players to create their own build and effectively defeat bosses.
The online player count for the Steam version of Rotwood has already exceeded 8,000. According to reviews — currently at a 98% rating — there isn't much content yet, but fans of Castle Crashers and Hades should be pleased.
With the launch discount, Rotwood is selling for $9.89.
