«Rockstar Games Seeks Perfection»: GTA 6 Publisher Talks About the Game's Development Process
May 20, 2024, 03:08 PM

Following the announcement of GTA 6's release window, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick gave an interview to CNBC, where he discussed the game's development.
Zelnick stated that the company is confident in the game's fall release, though he acknowledged that GTA 6 is a unique case.
In the case of an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it's not really about bugs. It's about creating an experience that no one has seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection. Perfection is hard to measure.
Unfortunately, Zelnick did not reveal what unique mechanics would be featured in the game. They might be shown in the coming months: recently, a spot for new screenshots was found on the project's official website.
Earlier, Take-Two Interactive announced mass layoffs affecting around 580 people.
