Halo series may come to PlayStation for the first time

The Verge editor Tom Warren released a column about Xbox's plans for the near future.
- Microsoft wants to release more games for competing consoles such as PS5 and Nintendo Switch. This initiative is known as Project Latitude;
- A remaster of the original Halo: Combat Evolved is in early development. The game may come to PlayStation 5;
- The company is also considering releasing the following games on PS5: Age Of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, Age of Mythology, Starfield, Doom: The Dark Ages, Hellblade 2;
- Gears 6, the new Fable, and South of Midnight are not part of the Project Latitude program;
- Gears 6 and Doom: The Dark Ages are expected to be shown this week as part of the Xbox Games Showcase;
- Warren expects fresh details about Fable and South of Midnight to be revealed in 2025.
The Xbox Games Showcase will take place on June 9.
