Large fan-made DLC for Fallout: New Vegas is in danger of being closed
Another Fallout fan project is at risk of never making it to release. The Nuevo Mexico story modification team for Fallout: New Vegas announced the suspension of the project due to the departure of the main developer.
Players noticed that materials related to the mod were removed from YouTube and the creators' social networks, and the Discord server also disappeared. The mod's freeze took even some members of the Fallout: Nuevo Mexico team by surprise.
Recently, the creators of the add-on did explain the reasons for the removal of materials. According to one of the main members of the Fallout: Nuevo Mexico team, the creation of the fan-made DLC had to be suspended due to the departure of the developer and project manager with the nickname Zapshock.
According to some reports from other team members, the developer left the project for personal reasons.
The Nuevo Mexico mod for Fallout: New Vegas was announced in 2022. The creators promised several new factions, three unique companions, a new storyline and a role-playing system in the spirit of the classic parts of the series. They managed to share several gameplay videos, but unfortunately, they have all been deleted at the moment.
Let us remember that in April the release of Fallout: London was also delayed due to a next-gen update for the fourth game.
Recently, a hidden mechanic was discovered in Fallout 4 that few players knew about.
