New TRON game announced
Publisher Devolver Digital announced TRON: Catalyst, a new game based on Disney's TRON. Developers have released the first trailer, screenshots, and details.
TRON: Catalyst will be an isometric action game where players, in the role of the girl-program Exo from the capital of the System, will have to enter the fight of warring factions in the dying Archsystem. Gamers will have to explore the virtual world, participate in battles with hostile programs, level up the character and acquire new abilities. Bithell Games, which created games like Thomas Was Alone, Subsurface Circular, and TRON: Identity, is working on the project.
The developers attribute the project's features to a good combat system, an engaging story, a carefully recreated world, and the ability to use the heroine's unique abilities.
The game will be released in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
