They released a short video showing just how many adventures an ordinary loaf of bread can experience. As the devs pointed out, in a way, the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. also began with bread, so things have come full circle.
Bread has long been an iconic part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. The first loaf from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl appeared in January 2020, and while many things have changed since then, one thing remains constant: bread is still an essential item in every stalker's backpack.
