S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Devs Showcase New Gameplay — Featuring a Loaf of Bread

The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl celebrated another crucial holiday with fans — World Bread Day. They released a short video showing just how many adventures an ordinary loaf of bread can experience. As the devs pointed out, in a way, the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. also began with bread, so things have come full circle.
Bread has long been an iconic part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. The first loaf from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl appeared in January 2020, and while many things have changed since then, one thing remains constant: bread is still an essential item in every stalker's backpack.
Why is the baked good in the Zone so strangely fragrant and irresistibly crispy? How does each piece taste as if it just came fresh from the oven? Where do these loaves even come from? Some of these questions will be answered very soon...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is set to release on November 20, 2024, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
