Final Fantasy XIV Mobile Announced for iOS and Android — Trailer Released
Square Enix has officially announced Final Fantasy XIV Mobile. A debut trailer is already available, featuring Naoki Yoshida, the developer of the original game, who introduces the first glimpses of gameplay.
The mobile adaptation is being developed by LightSpeed Studios. The trailer showcases the stunning landscapes of Eorzea, its inhabitants, and an epic boss battle. Although the footage comes from an early build, the game already looks impressive for a mobile title.
Pre-registration is now open on the game's official website. While the release date remains unknown, the developers plan to conduct initial testing in China.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XIV Online recently surpassed 30 million registered players. Interestingly, Gabe Newell has previously mentioned enjoying the MMORPG on his Steam Deck.
