New Demon Slayer Fighting Game Announced

A sequel to the anime-based fighting game Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles has been announced by developer CyberConnect2.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will pick up immediately after the events of the first game, covering story arcs such as the Entertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc, and the Training with the Hashira Arc. Like its predecessor, the sequel will be a 3D anime fighter. The developers have confirmed that the nine Hashira—the elite Demon Slayer Corps warriors—will be playable characters.
The game is slated for release in 2025 on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
