Community Manager from Bend Studio Makes a Statement Following the Cancellation of a Live-Service Game
Last week, renowned journalist Jason Schreier reported that Sony had canceled two unannounced live-service games. One of these projects was being developed by Bend Studio, known for Syphon Filter and Days Gone. Recently, the studio's community manager, Kevin McAllister, commented on the situation.
Unfortunately, Kevin McAllister did not disclose any details about the canceled project. Rumors suggest it could be a live-service game partially connected to the Syphon Filter series, with screenshots having leaked online last year.
Interestingly, former Days Gone game director John Garvin previously supported Bend Studio, stating that "such decisions affect people's lives".
As for the second canceled game, it is a project set in the God of War universe. The developer was Bluepoint Games, known for the remakes of Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus.
