Doom: The Dark Ages on PC to Get Denuvo Protection
Not the most pleasant news for PC players — Doom: The Dark Ages will add anti-piracy protection Denuvo Anti-Tamper. Information about this can be found on the official page of the game on Steam.
This protection has earned a bad reputation among gamers. Many players accuse Denuvo of reducing performance, although the developers claim that this only happens when it is improperly implemented in copies. In addition, the page on Steam revealed a list of localizations. At release, Doom: The Dark Ages will receive a full translation into several languages along with localization, including German, French and Italian.
Doom: The Dark Ages will be released on May 15 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. Pre-orders have already opened in digital services. The system requirements have also become known — they are quite high.
