Xring D13 introduced as a universal gadget for all devices

Startup Xring has unveiled the Xring D13, an innovative wireless controller that combines the functionality of a remote control, computer mouse, trackpad, and laser pointer. Weighing just 20 grams, this compact device is designed to be a versatile tool for managing a wide range of electronics. The Xring D13 features buttons for clicking, a scroll wheel, and a touch-sensitive trackpad reminiscent of a scaled-down laptop touchpad. All controls are operated using the thumb, making the device ergonomic and easy to use with just one hand.

The gadget connects via Bluetooth or a USB-C adapter, making it compatible with Windows and Linux computers, tablets, smartphones, smart TVs, and even e-readers. It’s perfect for controlling video playback, adjusting volume, flipping through pages, or even activating the camera on a smartphone.

For presentations, the Xring D13 is an invaluable assistant, thanks to its built-in laser pointer, which activates when the trackpad is pressed and held. The controller is powered by a 150 mAh battery that lasts up to 10 days on a full charge, with recharging taking approximately 1.5 hours. The Xring D13 is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter for $109. Following its official launch in April 2025, the retail price is set to increase to $207.
