Virtua Fighter 5 Finally Arrives on PC After 18 Years
After 18 years, the Japanese fighting game Virtua Fighter 5 has finally made its way to PC. The PC version, titled Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., has launched on Steam.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is an enhanced version of Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, which was released in 2021 on PlayStation 4. It includes several new modes, rollback netcode support, improved textures, 4K resolution, and 60 FPS. The roster of fighters remains unchanged, featuring 19 characters: Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, Jeffry McWild, Aoi Umenokoji, Lion Rafale, Sarah Bryant, Shun Di, Goh Hinogami, Lau Chan, Lei Fei, Brad Burns, Kage-Maru Hagakure, Wolf Hawkfield, Jacky Bryant, Vanessa Lewis, Eileen, El Blaze, Dural, and Jean Kujo.
In the US, the standard edition is priced at $16. According to the system requirements, to run the game, you'll need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM, and 22 GB of storage space on an SSD or HDD.
