Skyrim Gets Free Mod Adding DLSS 3 Frame Generation Support

A free NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation mod has been released for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim by an enthusiast nicknamed PureDark. Previously, he managed to increase the frame rate in Red Dead Redemption 2 by adding DLSS 3 support to the game.
The addon was released back in 2023 on a paid basis. However, the Community Shaders team, in collaboration with PureDark, recently released a free version available to a wide range of users. The modification uses the NVIDIA Streamline plugin and “finishes” frames, increasing FPS and improving performance on modern systems. The result is in the video below:
You can download the NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation mod from this link. Community Shaders and SSE Display Tweaks are also required for it to work. According to the authors of the modification, it requires GeForce RTX 40 and 50 series video cards to run, but users report that the generation works well on GeForce RTX 3080 as well.
Earlier, a demonstration of Skyrim locations recreated on the Unreal Engine 5 engine appeared online.
