New Gameplay of Lovecraftian Horror Shooter Beneath Shown

Get ready to dive into the abyss! IGN has just released a brand-new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Lovecraftian first-person horror shooter, Beneath. We've also got our hands on a separate 7-minute gameplay video for your viewing pleasure.

The gameplay trailer showcases exploration of a creepy, abandoned underwater facility, intense combat encounters with a variety of enemies, weapon customization, and more.

Beneath throws you into the wetsuit of Noah Quinn, a diver on a desperate mission to rescue his daughter. His search takes him into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, where he’ll explore underwater stations teeming with hostile soldiers and grotesque Lovecraftian horrors. Survival will hinge on conserving ammo and taking a stealthy approach when necessary. The developers are promising some solid AI and a partially destructible environment to ramp up the tension.

Beneath is set to launch in 2025 for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
