Blood and Sexual Innuendo: Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Gets an Age Rating

The ESRB agency suddenly issued an age rating for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, assigning the project the M17+ label. At the same time, a description of the project with some gameplay details appeared.

The sequel is presented as "an action role-playing game in which players help two vampires regain their memories and their powers to stop an uprising." In Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, you will have to explore city streets and investigate murders, and also, as expected, fight vampires. In battles, the player will be able to rely on both claws and fangs, and use local "magic" with telekinesis and mind control. In stealth mode, you can wring the necks of enemies or kill with one bite.

The rating also mentions vampire feeding, decapitation, impaling opponents, shooting, and a lot of blood. And the dialogues were found to contain many crude lines and ambiguous phrases with sexual overtones.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. There is still no release date, but fresh gameplay was shown in February.
