Euphoria Star May Play Lead Role in New Resident Evil Film

According to Deadline, the casting process for the new Resident Evil film has already begun. Euphoria star Austin Abrams may be in the running for the lead role in the Resident Evil film.
Recall that the next Resident Evil will reboot the horror series and return it to its roots. Zach Cregger, known for Barbarian, will act as director. It is not yet clear whether the film will be an adaptation of one of the Resident Evil games or a looser adaptation.
The premiere of the new Resident Evil will take place on September 18, 2026, with Sony Pictures responsible for production. Filming will begin this spring.
A trailer for the “adult” version of the adaptation of the fairy tale about Snow White was also recently released. And recently, in honor of Bruce Willis’ 70th birthday, Samuel L. Jackson shared the valuable advice he received from a colleague.
