Samsung Unveils Upgraded Tablets with Enhanced Performance and AI Features

Samsung has expanded its tablet portfolio with the introduction of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Positioned as premium yet affordable, these new models retain key features from the flagship lineup, including seamless integration with the Galaxy ecosystem and enhanced AI capabilities.
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ boasts a 13.1-inch LCD screen with slimmer bezels, offering 12% more display area than its predecessor. The base model features a 10.9-inch panel. Both versions support a 90Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, ensuring crisp visibility even in bright environments. Vision Booster technology automatically optimizes color output, while reduced blue light emission minimizes eye strain during extended use.
Powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, the tablets come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). The FE and FE+ models house 8,000 mAh and 10,090 mAh batteries, respectively, with support for 45W fast charging. Weighing 4% less than previous generations, both devices meet IP68 standards for dust and water resistance.
First AI Features in the FE Series:
- Circle to Search: Instantly search objects on-screen without switching apps.
- Solve Math: Solve handwritten equations in Samsung Notes.
- Object Eraser: Remove unwanted elements from photos.
- Best Face: Blend optimal facial expressions in group photos.
- Auto Trim: Automatically compile video highlights.
Preloaded creative apps like LumaFusion, Clip Studio Paint, and Goodnotes cater to artists and note-takers. Integration with Samsung SmartThings enables smart home control via the Home Insight widget and 3D map interface. Security is handled by Samsung Knox, and the included S Pen (lacking gesture controls) pairs with optional keyboard cases featuring a dedicated AI assistant button.
Sales begin April 3rd in select regions, with a phased global rollout. The tablets are available in Gray, Silver, and Light Blue, starting at €579. Samsung emphasizes the series’ focus on balancing performance, portability, and value for budget-conscious users.
