Takoroka released Eden-NX2 on October 29, 2026, as an experimental Eden build with Nintendo Switch 2 support. It can boot Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, but both games currently have major performance and graphical problems.
In Mario Kart World, the emulator suffers from frequent stutters, low speeds, and graphical glitches. Donkey Kong Bananza does not reach 60 frames per second. Takoroka warns that some game models may disappear because the necessary shaders have not been implemented. A separate video reportedly shows Mario Kart World running at 60 fps with only occasional shader-compilation slowdowns, but that performance has not been independently confirmed. -
