Zack Nelson's latest durability review puts the iPhone 18 Pro through its paces with bend and drop tests, and the results suggest the phone's weakest points are its aluminum frame and camera-plateau coating rather than the display.
The display uses Ceramic Shield 2 glass, and the first light scratches appeared only at Mohs level 7, with deeper grooves showing up at level 8. Nelson also found that the screen withstood direct lighter flame for about 25 seconds without irreversible damage, which puts the panel ahead of the parts of the body that take abuse more quickly. -
