In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the Zone is shrouded in many mysteries, and safes are one of the most interesting ways to find useful consumables and rare items. In this guide, we have collected all the codes for safes that you will encounter as you explore the open world of the game. Thanks to these passwords, you can open locked doors, find rare weapons and equipment, and also obtain other valuable resources.
Door code at Railway Maintenance Facility
This safe is available to players at any point in the playthrough. It is located in the Zaton region, at the maintenance station. Head to this area and find the locked room near the railway tracks. The code to open it is 2468.
Inside, you will find a lot of medical supplies and ammunition. However, the real highlight is the equipment lying on the table to the left — PS3-5I Hawk. If you find yourself here at the very beginning of your journey through the Zone, this item will be quite handy.
Safe code at Electric Field
During the passage of story and side quests in the Garbage region, you will definitely come across the Electric Field location. It is here, according to the map marker, that you will find an abandoned building.
Be careful of the electrical anomalies in this area, as they can cause significant damage. Enter the building and go up to the second floor. On this level, a safe with a combination lock will be waiting for you. To open it, enter the code 1708. Inside, you will find a hidden stash filled with medical supplies, food, and ammunition, which will definitely come in handy for your further journey.
Monolith door code at Waste Processing Station
The next locked door can be found during the story quest Hot on the Trail. When you reach the Waste Processing Station, you can take an additional quest Shift Change — the tasks of these two missions will coincide.
Head to the station and find the key on the roof, then move to the basement and get rid of the controller. Immediately after this, a passage to the corridor will open, where a locked door will be waiting. You can get a hint for the code by listening to the message on the PDA of one of the Monolith members. The password is 0505.
In this room, you will find several AK-74s, ammunition, and, of course, medical supplies. The rifles have red and yellow durability, so it's not advisable to take them for sale. Anti-rads and other radiation protection drugs will prove especially useful.
You can also use an alternative path to enter this location. To do this, use the door on the surface, which is located inside the southeastern checkpoint. The code for this door is 2711. Once inside, in the room behind the door, you will find a Aero Defense gas mask hidden behind the table, and you can also take some supplies stored in the safe.
Bunker door code in Sphere location
During the quest Under Seven Locks, you will repeatedly find yourself in this location, as the key stages of the task take place here. One of the main tasks will be to get to the Sphere military base, located in the eastern part of the Small Zone.
To get inside, you will need to enter a special code on the door located in the bunker in the northern part of the location. The code 2765 will become available if you decide to give the Varta sensors to Richter, which will be related to the development of the story and the choice within the task. However, if you chose a different path, you can simply enter the code mentioned above.
Codes for doors in Factory location
Reaching this location in the Garbage region, you will encounter two blocked passages, each opening a new path in the story. The first door you will find is in the south of the building, in the basement. To get inside the underground laboratory, enter the code 2605. Once you are inside and have found all the necessary items, you will need to leave this place. However, remember that the door you entered through is not meant for exit. In the next room on the right, you will discover another blocked door. Enter the code 2603 to exit the room and continue your journey.
Door code in Mindscrew location
The Cordon location is not known for many secrets, but in Mindscrew, you can find several interesting spots. Entering the tunnel located on the western part of the location, you will encounter a door locked with a combination lock. To open it, you need to enter the password — 1268. This path will lead you inside a huge warehouse where you can find many useful items. There will be medical supplies, ammunition, and a unique SSP-99 Ecologist suit. In addition, the warehouse holds a quest item — compact PSI installation. Sidorovich will gladly buy it for a good price.
Door code in Hydrodynamics Lab location
To find the location, head to the eastern part of Zaton. You can reach this place at any time, and inside you will encounter zombified enemies. However, nearby there is a small room with a door locked by a combination lock. The password is 4824.
If you want to obtain the code yourself, head to the main building and go to the second floor. Here, a controller will be waiting. After dealing with it and taking the collar from its corpse, the very code for the locked door will be added to the PDA. Inside, players will find medical supplies: anti-rad, Hercules, and standard medkits.
Dalina's safe code in SIRCAA location
During the storyline mission A Long Overdue Visit, when you first enter SIRCAA and go to the second floor as part of the task, you will need to get some sleep. However, don't rush to do this right away: instead, head to the end of the corridor. Here you will find Dalina's office. Enter and pay attention to the black-and-white photo hanging in the right corner near his desk.
Interacting with the image, the passage with highlights on the right will open, and you will be able to see a concealed safe. To find the code for the safe, you can study Dalina's diary lying on his desk, or simply use the combination — 2006. Opening the safe, you will find the Mica artifact and a note on expensive paper.
Safe code in Intercom Tower location
Upon reaching the Cement Plant location, we strongly advise visiting this place first. Head to the intercom tower, eliminate the 3-4 bandits guarding the area, then begin your exploration.
In the house to the right of the tower, you will find numerous boxes that may contain various medical supplies. Additionally, in the left corner of the room, there is a safe, and next to it, an indicator for entering the password.
Enter the code 030794 to open the safe and obtain ammunition, as well as the GP-25 under-barrel grenade launcher, which you can use with the AK-47 or AK-74.
Container code in Firestorm location
Heading west from the firestorm, you may encounter a group of allied stalkers settled near several containers. By carefully exploring the area, you'll notice a combination lock on one of the containers. If you examine the nearby objects, you can discover the password 2777 — you just need to find the right angle to see it.
When you use the code and open the container, zombified stalkers will appear. Yes, they are not well-armed, but their large numbers can play a cruel joke on you. Try to eliminate the enemies as quickly as possible, then inspect the container.
Inside, you will find an AR416 assault rifle, some medical supplies, and ammunition. Whether it's worth starting a fight with the zombified is up to you. After all, the risk associated with the number of opponents may not be justified, considering the reward is not too great.
Safe code in Barracks
The hero will reach the Rostok location later in the storyline, but before completing the main and additional quests, we recommend heading to the abandoned barracks of one of the Zone's factions.
Exploring the abandoned barracks, you will find a large number of broken weapons inside, such as the AKM-74c, as well as other useful items. After that, head to the once-inhabited part of the barracks, where several anomalies will be waiting for you. To safely pass through them, use bolts.

In the southern part of the Chemical Plant region are military depots, among which a white brick building stands out. On the first floor of this building, there is a door with a combination lock. To open it, you need to enter the code — 0690. Behind the door is a safe containing significant supplies, such as grenades and the PSZ-12V Bulat suit. This equipment provides good protection against physical damage, significantly increasing your chances of survival in the Zone.
Door code Chemical Plant — Arsenal
In the north of the Chemical Plant, near the place where Dr. Nikolai Bukharovsky resides, there is a locked door leading to the arsenal. To open it, you need to enter the code 8506, which can be found in the PDA on a nearby table. In the arsenal, you will find a Zubr-19 submachine gun, which will be a valuable addition to your arsenal. However, if you decide to visit this place without following the main storyline, it's better to just enter the code and grab the weapon without getting distracted by searching for the PDA.
Door code in Promin CMD Factory location
As part of the storyline quest Dawn of a New Day, you will need to head to the factory in the western part of the region. Here you will encounter another locked door with a keypad. During the mission, you will be given the code 1976, which will allow you to open it. Entering the combination, players will be able to continue their journey, exploring the factory and its surroundings.
Door code PWRV Rozsokha
Head north from the Drainage location, which is situated in the Yantar region. Here you will easily find a parking lot. Nearby, in the dam buildings, there is an entrance to an underground bunker. Before descending, we advise you to carefully inspect each vehicle in the parking lot. There you can find not only stashes with medical supplies but also other useful items.
Turning your attention to the door itself, you will discover a swarm of small rats. Throw a grenade there, after which you can freely descend and enter the code — 5578. Inside the bunker, you will find an assault Kharod rifle, as well as many other useful items that may come in handy later.
Safe code in Fairy Tale Pioneer Camp location
This pioneer camp is located in the heart of the Burnt Forest region. Reaching here for the first time, be prepared for battles with mutants. The safe with the code can be found in the southeast, near the stage. By carefully examining the area, you will come across brick ruins where the safe is located. The code for it is 1861.
To obtain the code, you can head to the Orbit Station, located southeast of the pioneer camp. On the second floor of the building in the southeastern corner of the location, you will find a PDA. By studying the letter on the tablet, you will be able to find highlighted words, from which you need to compose the combination.
Door code in X15 Lab location
To enter this laboratory, simply explore the region a few times and come across the Orbit Station location. Upon entering the peripheral station, navigate around it to find a door that requires the code — 1995.
Door code in Scorcher Technical Tunnel location
The Malachite region is renowned for its safety thanks to the main scientific and technical center. In the northwest of the region, there is an area with technical tunnels. When you get there, go around the tunnel on the right to find a staircase leading up. There will be a door that requires the code 1287975 to open. The combination can be found by inspecting the fence posts surrounding the tunnel. Inside, you will find an AR416 assault rifle and many useful supplies.
Door code in Lisovyi location
In the eastern part of one of the most remote regions — Yanov, you will find a location called Lisovyi. This is a small village where several dozen stalkers reside. Following the marker on the map, you will reach a descent into the basement, where there is a door locked with a code lock. To open it, enter the combination 240983. Inside, you will find an M860 Cracker shotgun, SVU-MK S-3 sniper rifle, Zubr-19 submachine gun, RPM-74 machine gun, as well as ammunition and medical supplies that will be very useful in further gameplay.
Hatch code in Vehicle Park location
While exploring the Duga region, you will surely want to check out the vehicle park. Between these locations, there is a building with a locked door. To get inside, simply shoot the padlock. Inside the room, you will find a panel for entering the hatch code. Enter 2110 to open it. Descending down, you will discover an extended magazine for Mark 1, medical supplies, and grenades — all of which will come in handy for further adventures.
Door code near Bookstore location
In the southeastern part of Pripyat, there is a bookstore, also known as a library. While exploring this area, head to the multi-story building marked on the map and go up to its 8th floor. Next to the white doors, you will see a panel for entering the code. Use the combination 2021 to open the stash. Inside, you will find a Beastmaster sniper rifle, Margach D-12MT shotgun, PSZ-21W Assault exoskeleton, and ammunition.
Door code near CSC
This stash can be found in one of the multi-story buildings in Pripyat, which is marked on the map above. After reaching the top floor of the building, turn left and enter the code — 13263622. In this apartment, you will find many useful items, from medical supplies to various weapons, including a Gauss gun. The code itself could be found in notes from a stalker, which are divided among eight PDAs scattered throughout the game map.
