Dying Light 2 has added a new difficulty level
The latest update for Dying Light 2 Stay Human brought the Nightmare difficulty level to the game, new rewards and balance changes. It is already available for installation.
Nightmare mode adds the following features to the game:
- The game cannot be paused by opening the menu;
- Things are created in real time;
- With constant use, the flashlight may flicker, dim and even turn off;
- Each use of an inhibitor reduces immunity;
- Higher chances of getting rare loot;
- Survivor Sense only shows weapons and quest items;
- Regeneration takes longer;
- Armor protects worse;
- Health is not restored automatically.
A full list of mode changes can be found on the game's event page on Steam.
The developers also reduced the number of jumpers and weakened them, and also changed the hearing and vision of the biters — now they will not be so sensitive. In addition, the game has reworked cutscenes, improved animations and changed camera angles, fixed some bugs, changed the design of the main menu and made balance adjustments.
