Neil Druckmann claimed that the next Naughty Dog game could redefine perceptions of gaming
Today, Sony held a special Creative Entertainment Vision event. It was mainly focused on business strategy, but there were also less boring news. For example, the company released a video that tried to imagine how gaming will change in 10 years.
According to Sony, the near future will bring us a «more multi-layered world“ that combines physical and virtual realities. The video featured several Sony franchises, including Horizon, and various futuristic devices like a gamepad with a futuristic screen.
A little later, an interview with Naughty Dog's head Neil Druckmann appeared on Sony's official website. The developer is eager to share details about his next project, which could ”redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming.»
Details about the next Naughty Dog project are scarce — it's only known that the story structure resembles a TV series. Druckmann also previously mentioned that he already has a concept for the third part of The Last of Us.
