Nintendo Direct ended with a truly loud announcement — a fresh trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The game, announced at E3 2017, will be released in 2025 on Nintendo Switch.
The trailer contains the first gameplay footage, showing Samus Aran battling space pirates. At the end, the heroine encounters a particularly dangerous opponent who could very well be the main antagonist.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will likely also be released on the next generation of Switch, which will also go on sale in 2025. The official announcement of the device will take place by March 31.
During Nintendo Direct, a new «Zelda» with the princess in the main role was also announced.
