A YouTuber compared how much the graphics differ in the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster and the original 2017 version
Sony has officially announced Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered — a re-release of the original game with improved graphics. YouTuber Cycu1 has already compared the new and original footage.
The creators of the remaster aimed to achieve roughly the same picture quality as in Horizon Forbidden West. The re-release features improved model and vegetation quality, as well as more realistic lighting.
It is worth noting that the original trailer for the remaster is already being heavily criticized on YouTube — it currently has 9,000 likes and 21,000 dislikes. Players are outraged that Sony decided to enhance an already beautiful game, yet ignores calls to re-release true classics like Bloodborne.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be released on October 31 for PC and PlayStation 5. Owners of the original game will be able to purchase the next-gen upgrade for $10.
