Persona 5 Devs Release a New RPG Packed with Dozens of Hours of Content — Metaphor: ReFantazio
On October 11, Atlus (the studio behind Persona 5) released their latest role-playing game, Metaphor: ReFantazio. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
In Metaphor: ReFantazio, players are transported to a medieval fantasy world where they must defend their kingdom. This involves exploring various locations, building alliances, and honing their skills. Unlike Persona, the protagonist in Metaphor levels up through archetypes, with some combat encounters happening in real time.
The game has received glowing reviews from critics, currently holding a score of 93 on Metacritic and 92 on OpenCritic. On Steam, 84% of reviews are positive, though it's worth noting that many negative reviews come from Chinese players facing issues with button prompts while using a gamepad.
