Death Stranding 2 Receives 19+ Rating in South Korea for Violence and Strong Language

The release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is drawing closer. Today, the game officially received a 19+ rating in South Korea.
This rating confirmation suggests that the game's content is fully complete, with the development team now focusing on polishing. However, the exact release date remains unknown. For reference, Star Wars Outlaws was rated five months before launch, the Red Dead Redemption re-release got its rating just six weeks prior, while the original Death Stranding was rated around three months before their debuts.
According to the South Korean rating agency’s description, Death Stranding 2 will feature: violent scenes with blood and bodily injuries, strong language, depictions of smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug use.
An official release date may be announced next week. Insiders previously reported that a State of Play presentation is scheduled for February 14. Following this, Hideo Kojima confirmed that he is editing a new trailer for the game.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.
