Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight Animated Series Lands on Netflix This April

Netflix has released a new trailer and announced the premiere date for the animated series Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight. The show will launch on the streaming service on April 30th.

The series will follow the story of the village druid who forgets the recipe for the magic potion, leading Asterix, Obelix, and the other Gauls to seek alternative ways to resist the Romans. The show is created by French director Alain Chabat, who also directed the 2002 live-action film Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra.

In other Netflix animation news, the streaming giant recently dropped a new video and poster for the upcoming Devil May Cry anime series, which will consist of eight episodes. And prior to that, news broke that Netflix acquired the rights to adapt the 2022 game Sifu into a film.
