New Demon Slayer Game Trailer Drops, Release Date Set

CyberConnect2 has released a new trailer and revealed the release date for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, the next installment in the Demon Slayer anime game series. This new trailer focuses on the Entertainment District Arc.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a direct sequel to the first game released in 2021. It will feature a story mode consisting of three arcs (Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc), as well as multiplayer battles.
The Japanese release date for The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is August 1st. The Western release will follow shortly after, on August 5th. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
It's also worth noting that Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Jou-hen is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 18, 2025.
