New Gameplay Footage of Open-World RPG Crimson Desert Released

The developers of the fantasy action RPG Crimson Desert have unveiled new gameplay footage, this time focusing on the game’s technological advancements.
The latest clips showcase several graphical enhancements. Ray tracing is nothing new at this point, so the studio has also introduced systems that simulate realistic water flow, fog, and fabric physics. Thanks to these features, river currents foam and swirl around rocks, while clothing dynamically sways in the wind.
Beyond graphical improvements, the game boasts a variety of gameplay mechanics. Previous trailers have shown the protagonist fishing, traveling in a hot air balloon, and scaling buildings with Ezio-like agility.
Crimson Desert is set to launch in 2025 for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. System requirements can be found here.
