There is almost no plot in the game, it is placed in the Campaigns section and in some Scenarios (as well as in the hidden Career mode, but shhh).
Soft body physics is what Assetto Corsa, Rfactor is missing, and what BeamNG has become famous for. Yes, in terms of car simulation there are many omissions (temperature and tire wear, aerodynamics, dynamics of the surfaces on which the cars move), but some of these opportunities are compensated for... With the help of mods!
The simulator has excellent mod support, and talented authors not only develop and make their cars at the level of developers, but also try to do something that the game authors have not yet been able to do! (the same aerodynamics and tire wear simulation)

Сюжета в игре почти нет, он помещён в разделе Кампаний и в некоторых Сценариях (а также в скрытом режиме Карьеры, только тссс).
Физика мягких тел — то, чего не хватает Assetto Corsa, Rfactor, и то, чем BeamNG и прославилась. Да, в плане симуляции автомобиля есть много упущений (температура и износ шин, аэродинамика, динамика поверхностей, по которым движутся болиды), но некоторые из таких возможностей компенсированы ... С помощью модов!
У симулятора отличная поддержка модов, а талантливые авторы не только развиваются и делают свои автомобили на уровне разработчиков, но и пробуют сделать то, чего авторы игры ещё не смогли! (та же аэродинамика и симуляция износа шин)
В заключении скажу, что несмотря на все те разрушения, что вы можете сотворить с автомобилем, это цифровое произведение искусства, в котором вы вольны творить, созидать, разрушать!
