The "Meatgrinder" modification for Doom and Doom 2 adds more brutality, dismemberment, and effects to the original games. The mod does not affect the difficulty and mechanics of the game; it reworks all weapons and enemies to make them more spectacular while maintaining the original balance. For example, the plasma pistol fires three times faster but deals the same damage. The minigun fires four times faster than the original Chaingun, and you can carry twice as much ammunition, but you still deal the same amount of damage per hit.

Оригинальное название: Meatgrinder Co-Op mod

Модификация "Meatgrinder" для Doom и Doom 2, добавляет в оригинальные игры больше жестокости, расчлененки и эффектов. Мод не затрагивает сложность и механику игры, он перерабатывает все оружие в игре и врагов, чтобы сделать их более зрелищными но при этом сохранив оригинальный баланс. Например, плазменный пистолет стреляет в три раза быстрее, но наносит точно такой же урон. Миниган стреляет в 4 раза быстрее, чем оригинальный Чайнгун, и вы может нести в два раза больше боеприпасов, но вы по-прежнему наносите одинаковое количество урона за одно попадание.
