Items stay in your inventory when you die. No more dying trying to get back to your corpse. Does not disable achievements. This mod does not make any changes to savegames or game files and can be disabled or removed at any time without risk.

How to launch:

Install BepInEx;
Download and extract this mod;
Copy the extracted files to the <duckov-home>/BepInEx/plugins folder;
Start the game and exit;
Change the configuration options (see below);
Once you have set the options, start the game again.
By default, all options in this mod are turned off (false, 0, blank, etc.) to give the user the least "cheaty" experience possible. Enabled — set to false to disable this mod.

Editing the configuration file:

If you used the premade BepInEx pack or downloaded ConfigurationManager, you can press F1 to open a dialog to modify the options. Note that some options may only take effect after restarting the game.

To edit the config file outside the game:

Open Notepad or your favorite text editor (Win + R, then notepad);
File => Open. Navigate to <duckov-home>/BepInEx/config and open the devopsdinosaur.duckov.keep_items_on_death.cfg file;
Each of the options listed above can be modified according to the description. Lines starting with # are comments. Lines in [] are section headers;
After making changes, save the file and restart the game.
