Meet the duology of the best mods for the original Far Cry with updated weapons!

General changes:

  • The mods are ready-to-use and do not require installation via an executable file (portable); all the latest updates are already included.
  • Run animations have been added to all original weapons.
  • Models and animations of almost all original weapons have been updated, and an "Iron Sights" aiming system has been added to all of them.
  • A Systemcfgoverride file has been added to fix the draw distance for objects (trees, vegetation, terrain).

In addition to all this, specifically in Matto4, high-quality HD water has been added, which appeared in mods like Far Cry 2010 and The Delta Sector.

The crosshair in the center had to be removed because it was not possible to solve the issue where it remains visible when aiming down sights.

Don’t forget to switch your input language to English before launching the game. Far Cry is designed in such a way that controls reset when you change the keyboard layout! This is also necessary to use console commands, because if you’re using Russian, you’ll see hieroglyphs, and unfortunately, it’s not possible to change the layout during the game.

Installation:

  1. Unpack the contents of the archive into the game folder.
  2. Launch any of the desired mods via Massive_attack.cmd and Matto4.cmd respectively, or by selecting the modification in the game itself!
