Important Windows SDK 2019 Installation Guide

VERY IMPORTANT!

Without installing Windows SDK 2019, the editor will not launch at all. Nothing will work.

Extract the archive to any convenient folder.

The folder should contain the following files:

WindowsSDK2019.exe • MewgenicsSaveEditor.exe • version.dll

First, install Windows SDK 2019:

Run WindowsSDK2019.exe as administrator.

Check the box for Windows SDK for Desktop C++ x86 and x64 apps.

Wait for the installation to complete and restart your computer.

After restarting, make sure the version.dll file is in the same folder as MewgenicsSaveEditor.exe.

Do not rename version.dll.

Now you can launch the editor as administrator, drag your .sav file into the program, and start editing.

How to Use:

Download and extract the archive → install Windows SDK 2019 → drag your save file into the editor → make changes → save.

Important: Always make a backup of your save file before editing!
