Silent Hill is a mesmerizing action-horror game with a third-person view and puzzles. The events of the game will tell the story of writer Harry Mason, who went to Silent Hill in search of his missing adopted daughter Cheryl. О Silent Hill можно говорить часами, без этой игры не было бы всей серии , она лучшая из всех , и я говорю не о графике , которая кстати была одной из лучших для PSOne , я говорю о эмоциональной составляющей игры , сколько бы лет не прошло (а проходил я этот шедевр лет так 10-15 тому назад) наверное я никогда не забуду мученика Гарри , несчастную Лизу и полицейского Сибил которая в самом начале игры , вручая пистолет , говорит Гарри ключевые слова ( о том чтобы он стрелял только при крайней необходимости , и точно знал по кому он стреляет ) , которые в последствии в корне меняют сюжет и концовку игры. The enemies are not meticulous bastards, as in the first parts of Resident, but completely killable parasites. The combat was also very convenient for those times, but it was impossible to play on a keyboard, only on a gamepad.

Лучшая часть Silent Hill, в которую я с кайфом играю по сей день. Пиксельная графика не вызывает дискомфорта, как в первых трёх резидентах, напротив, она привлекает своим крайне атмосферным, мрачным стилем. Тут даже небольшой открытый мир есть, что было большой редкостью для конца 90-ых.
Замечательный саунд, каждой топот, треск, шум радио, выстрел, всё сделано с невероятным старанием звуковых операторов. Низкий поклон Акире Ямаоке.
Враги это не дотошные гады, как в первых частях резидента, а вполне убиваемые паразиты. Боёвка для тех времён тоже очень удобная, но на клавиатуре играть невозможно, только на геймпаде.

I finished this game again.
Despite the fact that the controls are inconvenient by today's standards, as well as the not-so-ideal melee mechanics, I admit that I fell in love with this game even more.
Because the plot, in which the developers from TS wrapped up such a Japanese thing that has been catching you for so many years and can’t get out of your head, coupled with a simply incredible atmosphere and the iconic soundtrack of Yamaoka (how can we not mention this genius), creates such an incredible horror that even graphene from the ps1 era adds even more crypto.
Team Silent are pure geniuses, it’s a pity that only the series is on the top shelf of Konami. The first part needs a remake more than the sequel, but Konami thinks differently...or doesn’t think at all.
В очередной раз прошёл эту игру.
Не смотря на то, что неудобное по нынешним меркам управление, а также не самую идеальную механику ближнего боя, признаю, я полюбил эту игру ещё сильнее.
Ибо сюжет, в который разрабы из TS завернули такую японщину, что уже столько лет цепляет и не выходит из головы, в купе с просто невероятной атмосферой и культового саундтреком Ямаоки (куда ж без упоминания этого гения) создаёт такой невероятный хоррор, что даже графен времен ps1 добавляет ещё большей крипоты.
Team Silent — чисто гении, жаль, что только серия на верхней полке у конами. Вот первой части ремейк нужен больше, чем сиквелу, но конами думает по-другому...или не думает вообще.
