Syberia is a masterpiece of the gaming industry that has several annoying bugs in its Russian version.

This patch is created in honor of the 10th anniversary of the game Syberia for the Russian localization from 1C! The patch fixes all errors made during the translation of the game into Russian.

List of fixes:

Fixed the bug with the synchronization of the Russian speech of the game characters with their facial expressions. Now all characters OPEN THEIR MOUTHS in dialogues (see note 1);

Fixed the "absence" of some phrases (see note 2);

Added the missing phone voice distortion effect in some phrases (see note 3);

Changed the font of Kate's notebook entries (see note 4);

Replaced the game's intro video ("Kate's Arrival") with the original video from the French version. The French footage is accompanied by Russian subtitles (see note 6);

Corrected some inaccuracies in the text part of the game. Spoiler

Note on the fixes:

In the Russian version of the game from 1C, characters in dialogues did NOT open their mouths. Now they DO.

Many may note that the volume level of the characters' speech after installing this patch has become significantly lower. In fact, the volume level is now as it should be, based on the volume level of phrases in the French and English versions of the game's voiceover.

It was noted that the station master's phrase and Kate's phrase in Barrockstadt were missing.

The phone voice distortion effect was lacking in several phrases of Professor Pons in Barrockstadt and in the bartender's phrase in Aralabad. Additionally, in one of Professor Pons' lecture excerpts, the volume level was very low. The level has been increased.

The font of Kate's notebook entries in the Russian version from 1C was, roughly speaking, "printed". Now it is closer to the original.

In the 1C version, the intro video was compressed due to the replacement of the footage, which led to a deterioration in video quality in this video. Moreover, the footage was incorrectly translated for dubious reasons — "French Alps" ("Alpes francaises") became "Swiss". The video has been replaced, and any mention in the game of "Swiss" Alps has been "eradicated".

WARNING: The patch is installed on the licensed Russian version of the game from 1C ("Syberia", "Syberia: The Golden Edition"), as well as on any unofficial edition of the game that includes content with the Russian localization from 1C.

Run the file "Syberia_Patch_RUS_1C_by_Cheshire28.exe";

Install the patch in the folder with the installed game.
