Gameplay:

A very interesting game in terms of mechanics. Co-op with friends makes the gameplay of this game even more fun. However, the lack of content, especially around the 20th hour, starts to become noticeable. Another significant drawback is the balance regarding some mobs (especially on the plains with its one-shot mosquitoes). Well, in general, the game is fun, with a pleasant atmosphere (especially with friends), and addictive gameplay that can drag you on for a good 50, or even 70 hours

The game is good. The building physics work perfectly. You can't pull a beam without support for a kilometer—it will collapse. So you have to sweat and think about how to build better, which ultimately makes you treat your building more carefully.

A huge procedurally generated world with various biomes, dungeons, challenges, and bosses. Various events can occur in the game, from changing weather conditions to enemy attacks, which are very well-designed.

A game of extremes.

On the one hand, during my playthrough, I noticed a lot of fun and laughter, but on the other, there was also suffering and despondency.

The pros are the setting, mobs, and building.

The cons are the grind and the difficulty of moving around the map. Especially when you're dead and need to collect loot.

Amazing game, I played for about 10 hours and I don't want to stop.

Pros:

1. Small game size (just over 4 GB);

2. Cooperative mode available, and the gameplay gets more challenging with each new player (up to 10);

3. Huge map, which you will spend a good amount of time exploring.

Cons:

1. No separate slots for armor or weapons; everything is in your inventory (but there is a quick access bar).

2. Water transport can be buggy at times (the vessel occasionally suffers damage when navigating calm waters).

Recommended.

One of the best survival in which I played. For more than 500 hours, already for more than 500 hours. IMBOL Physics, combat system and a huge world I advise

What did you like about the game?

The graphics, lighting, world, music—everything is pleasant and gently immerses you in the universe.

I'm a big fan of sandbox games, Minecraft in particular. I enjoy building forts, castles, and monuments. The game delighted me with its extensive set of building tools and, just as importantly, the CONVENIENCE of construction.

Building in Valheim is a pleasure, while in The Forest, construction feels crude, the walls are crooked, and gaps appear.

What I liked: Survival in Viking Folk is awesome. The tree physics, the combat. And the construction is incredible. I spent half a day building an entire villa, only to realize later that I had no need for such a large house. The graphics aren't too harsh, it's nice to look at.

What I didn't like: It's co-op (it's awesome, the focus is on it, there's no one to play with). It's very boring and empty on your own. The community servers are extremely questionable.

An underrated gem, in my opinion.

Resource mining is a bit difficult.

An overrated product from the perpetual Early Access era, it captivates you with a cozy northern vibe for the first 20 hours, then unceremoniously assigns you to an unpaid shift in the mine. The romance of chopping down pine trees, building a flimsy shed, and happy bees works just fine until you reach the swamps, where the game drops the guise of adventure and turns into a sweltering logistics simulator for a laborer. For some reason, the developers decided that hauling ore on slow boats due to the stupid teleport ban is fun, but breaking the balance and releasing one-shot mosquitoes in the next biome is hardcore. Norse mythology is always straightforward, beckoning with all its stories. After I'd gotten over Ubisoft's release (Assassin's Creed Valhalla), I washed my hands, keyboard, and monitor and decided to see what else was out there on the topic, and my eyes fell on Valheim.

So, in terms of the plot, yes, there is one. You're a warrior trapped not in Valhalla but in the prison world of Valheim, and to prove to the great Odin that you're worthy of Valhalla, you must defeat all the bosses in the game.

Building your own corner, gathering resources. A standard survival grinder with mythological creatures as experience and a clear storyline. An excellent game with decent graphics.

One of the best games in this setting. After adding settings to reduce grinding, it became one of the best survival games.

Not bad, there are some interesting mechanics, but the mods... It's a complete mess. Shooting without an upgraded archer is nearly impossible, the skills are limited, and there are some weird ones. And the graphics are a bit sparse for such a voracious gameplay. Overall, there's room for improvement. Although I haven't played the release yet, I should. I need to update the mods again...

The game is good in its own way, I recently started playing, I put it off for a long time, but I liked the atmosphere, gameplay and open world, I recommend it

An original and, most importantly, hardware-undemanding survival game where you really need to survive, especially at first, moving further and building, in addition to the main base, intermediate transit points where you can hide from crowds of monsters, keep warm and just sleep.

If there are still people who haven’t played this wonderful game, then be sure to try it. Preferably in a co-op with friends. It’s fun))

A great game, you can enjoy playing both solo and with friends or relatives. Excellent replay value. Some mechanics, which are aimed only at delaying the gameplay, are a little annoying. Everything else is a blast.

Survival in an open world with a small plot. The point of the game: survive, build, kill bosses, get resources.
