Welcome to the Game II

This horror game with strategy and puzzle elements follows investigative reporter Clint Edwards as he searches the dark web for a mysterious woman named Amalea. During a livestream, she says that masked men are hunting her, but the broadcast cuts off before she can reveal her location. In Welcome to the Game II, Clint sets out to find her by exploring the dangerous corners of the internet.

The player works through a simulated computer operating system, examining web pages, page source and hidden files to find eight hashes and decrypt the shadow web browser. The search takes place in Clint’s apartment: he connects to neighbors’ Wi-Fi networks, fends off hacker attacks in minigames and uses tools such as note-taking software and the A.N.N browser. DOSCoin earned during play can be spent on useful items, while motion sensors help monitor the surroundings.
