The authors of Frostpunk 2 showed a trailer with reviews of the game's beta test
The new trailer for the post-apocalyptic simulator Frostpunk 2 from 11 bit Studios brought together positive reviews from publications about the gameplay of the beta test. The game has been called a «creepy piece of stressful city building» and a «labor of love» by its creators.
If you believe the reviews of gaming journalists in the video, the gameplay of the sequel is very different from the first part. The game world, the City's needs and methods of survival have changed. The interface effects have been better developed when severe cold occurs or the level of population dissatisfaction increases. Disadvantaged areas of the City are now indicated by a red glow.
Frostpunk 2 received other adjectives: Digital Trends called the game a «creepy piece of stressful city building,» PC Gamer called it an «endless, hopeless, heartbreaking experience,» and Twinfinite called it a «labor of love» for the developers.
Let us remind you that from April 15 to 22, Frostpunk 2 is conducting its first beta testing. Only those players who purchased the deluxe edition can participate in it.
The game will be released on July 25 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
