The Witcher 4 Release Won't Happen Soon. 411 People Working on the Game

The role-playing action game The Witcher 4 was announced in December last year, but according to a recently published financial report, its release shouldn't be expected in the near future.

It is reported that CD Projekt RED does not plan to release The Witcher 4 before 2027, but exact dates are still unknown.

Additionally, it has been revealed that 411 people are working on the project. For comparison, in October 2024, 400 people were involved in its development. Another 84 employees are working on Project Orion (the codename for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel). 49 are working on Project Sirius (the codename for The Witcher spin-off). 17 creators are involved in the mysterious Project Hadar.

Let's recall that CD Projekt RED previously released a video detailing the creation of the cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4.
