10 billion hours per month! Roblox is ahead of Steam and PlayStation in terms of engagement

The number of players in Roblox exceeds the combined number of gamers on Steam and PlayStation. Users spend about 10.3 billion hours in the game every month.

Roblox's statistics regarding the number of hours played stand out noticeably against Steam, where 5.1 billion hours are spent, and PlayStation, with its 4.3 billion hours. According to analyst Matthew Ball, Fortnite, as well as game platforms like Epic Games Store, remain far behind.

Individual games inside Roblox are also breaking records. For example, Grow a Garden collects more than 0.7 billion hours per month, which is ahead of the entire Blizzard game library. Steal a Brainrot and 99 Nights in the Forest are almost not far behind: both gain more than 0.6 billion hours and are ahead of Dota 2.

Last year, the authors of Roblox reported that they attract about 100 million users daily. This brings developers more than $1 billion a year.

According to GameRant, the success of Roblox can be attributed to the many opportunities that the game provides. The platform has almost everything from a farm simulator to shooters.
