On August 13, 2026, Nightdive Studios and Flat2VR Studios announced System Shock VR, a full VR adaptation of the original System Shock remake. The game already has a Steam page, but the release date has not been revealed yet.
System Shock VR is being made by Flat2VR Studios in collaboration with Nightdive Studios, with Atari and Impact Inked also attached to the project. The developers describe it as a full VR version of the classic sci-fi immersive sim rather than a separate spinoff. -
