How to complete the quest Seat of the Sovran

The quest becomes available in Melve, but you can only start it upon arrival in Vernworth. Talk to the captain and head outside.

The boy in the cap: lie or tell the truth?

As soon as you are outside, you will meet a boy in a hat running from the guard. He will kindly apologize and hide behind the building behind you. You only have to choose: tell the truth or lie. We chose the latter option, as this decision will affect the boy's loyalty.

Head to the tavern and have a private word with Captain Brant. You will be given a choice of three quests: Monster Extermination, Regent problem, and Lawman problem. Choose the first task in the list.
