Where to Find All Treasures in Forza Horizon 4: Maps of All Treasures
Following the release of the Fortune Island DLC for Forza Horizon 4, players were introduced to a separate location. In addition to new cars being added to the game, the developers also hid several unique rewards that can yield a vast number of credits. In this guide, we will detail the locations of all the treasures and thoroughly discuss the necessary conditions to obtain the hidden rewards.
How to Access Forza Horizon 4 Fortune Island (Fortune Island DLC) and Solve All Treasure Riddles
To access the DLC, you need to download Forza Horizon 4 Expansion 1 through Xbox or Microsoft Store. The update is approximately 7 GB, so it will take some time before you can enter the game to download all the files. After installing the update, enter the game and head to the specified point on the map. The required location is to the east of Astmoor. Upon reaching the right place, the player will receive an invitation to travel to Fortune Island. To move to the new location, press the X button on the controller.
After moving to Fortune Island, complete the first introductory race and gain access to several treasures. To obtain each of them, you will need to solve a riddle presented in the corresponding menu. Upon meeting all the conditions, the game displays the approximate location of the treasure with the reward on the map. After finding the chest, you need to break it with your car. For completing this action, the player will be rewarded with a million credits. This is quite enough to purchase almost any car and buy many properties in the game. A total of 10 chests are hidden across the expanse of Fortune Island.
Before starting the treasure hunt, it is recommended to complete several PR stunts. They are scattered all over the map, and getting a three-star rating grants 3000 experience points for each mission. Although these events are one-time, completing them won't take much time. Additionally, it is recommended to participate in off-road competitions, which can yield a lot of experience when using any of the Forza Edition cars for additional leveling boosts.
Treasure No. 1: The Tyrant's Hoard
- Unlock conditions — move to Fortune Island.
- Riddle — This pickup is huge, like a T-Rex, waiting for the Festival Apex.
- Solution — use the 2017 Concept Ram Rebel TRX, start your journey around the island, and pass through the speed zone Festival's Apex, which is located at the exit from the Horizon Festival site. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — pass through the aforementioned speed zone and turn right towards the docks. The treasure will be located near the entrance to the garage.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 2: The Golden Pillars
- Unlock conditions — level 2 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — The Needle calls you — welcome, take the Italian four-five-eight.
- Solution — use the 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia and head to the drift zone Needle Climb, located north of the Horizon Festival site. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — after completing the race, proceed a bit further and find the chest on the way up to the mountain top, located near the Giant's Dolmens.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits and a 2019 Lamborghini Urus car.
Treasure No. 3: The Fastest Chariot
- Unlock conditions — level 3 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — Sixty-five wild horses again race in Viking Bay.
- Solution — use the 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe and head to the trailblazer challenge Viking Bay, located north of the Horizon Festival site. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — after completing the race, head to the mountain top and find the chest near Laufey's Throne.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 4: Through the Ruins to Riches
- Unlock conditions — level 3 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — Find the fallen buildings in haste, fly over them in a three-wheeled 'Morgan'.
- Solution — use the 2014 Morgan 3 Wheeler and head to the Danger Sign to make a jump at the Fenholm Ruin's Leap location. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — after making the jump, turn around and proceed forward on the road. The treasure chest is located near a partially destroyed building close to the sunken chapel.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 5: Through the Ruins to Riches
- Unlock conditions — level 5 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — Welcome those by the lake, bring the three-star R8.
- Solution — use the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus and head to the Lady On The Lake speed trap. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn three stars.
- Chest location — after passing through the speed trap, head north to Skildar's Head and find the treasure chest near a lone tree amidst the rocks.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits and a 2002 Koenigsegg CC8S car.
Treasure No. 6: To the Light of a Lantern
- Unlock conditions — level 6 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — Any can handle the 'Will-o'-the-Wisp' speed zone if they sit in a jeep named Willy.
- Solution — use the 1945 Willys MB Jeep and head to the Will-o'-the-Wisp speed zone. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — the chest is located close to the aforementioned speed zone on the edge of the island at the most eastern point, to the northeast of the Giant's Dolmen. Players should be careful not to fall into the ocean while climbing.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 7: Dew on the Ash
- Unlock conditions — level 7 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — A 'Lambo' from the 80s wasn't made for dirt roads, but fate has it racing through the forest.
- Solution — use the 1986 Lamborghini LM 002 and head to the Forest Run trailblazer challenge. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — the treasure is located in the same place in the forest between two road turns that divide the vast territory of the island.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 8: Skildar's Hoard
- Unlock conditions — level 8 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — The Swedish knight is eager for battle, reach the lake — rush, don't dawdle.
- Solution — use the 2015 Volvo Iron Knight and head to the Lakeside speed zone. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — the hoard is located in a cave to the northwest of Storm Beach. The chest can be found in the ruins of a pirate ship.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits and a 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor car.
Treasure No. 9: Wealth and Glory
- Unlock conditions — level 9 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — If to the mountains you're headed, pass there in a 'Korean' with three stars.
- Solution — use the 2018 Kia Stinger and head to the Mountainside speed trap. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn three stars.
- Chest location — the treasure is located on the largest southern island, south of Storm Beach, near the ruins of a house.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits.
Treasure No. 10: Reward for Risk
- Unlock conditions — level 10 Island Conqueror of Fortune Island.
- Riddle — This house shines like a star, a muscle car will always get far.
- Solution — use any classic muscle car, for example, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Coupe, and head to the Danger! sign at the Skildar Heights (Lighthouse) location near the lighthouse. To successfully complete the task, you need to earn at least one star.
- Chest location — the final treasure is located in the center of a lake on a small island, which cannot be reached by road. To reach the necessary point, you will need to accelerate and jump over the water using a pronounced hill on one side of the lake.
- Reward — 1,000,000 credits and a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J.
