Where to Find the Three Bells in Black Myth: Wukong

In the first five chapters of Black Myth: Wukong, there are hidden secret areas that can only be accessed by completing a hidden quest. These secret areas hide good rewards, new shrines, and new boss battles. In the first chapter, you need to go through Black Wind Mountain to access them. Here's how to do it.

To access the secret area of Chapter 1, you need to ring several bells scattered across Black Wind Mountain. Approach the gazebo-like structures and interact with them when you are close enough. A short cutscene will play where you ring the bell. You need to find three such structures in total.

From the Outside the Forest Shrine, follow the path, cross the bridge to the arena where you fought the Yaoguai Chief: Guangzhi. The bell will be in a small gazebo right next to the battlefield.

From the Marsh of White Mist shrine, turn back and head to the arena where you fought the Yaoguai Chief: Guangmou. The bell can be found on a short staircase leading away from the arena.

Start again from the Marsh of White Mist shrine and continue descending the wooden paths to the large pool where you fought the Whiteclad Noble boss. Instead of entering the large building marked with torches, go left into the cave. The bell can be found by passing through the clearing on the other side of the cave.

After ringing the third bell, a cutscene will play, and you will be teleported to a secret area called the Ancient Guanyin Temple. Move along the path to the first courtyard where you will find the Grand Courtyard shrine and three large chests (one of which contains a piece of Guanyin's Prayer Beads armor).

In the next courtyard, a boss fight with Elder Jinchi will begin. The boss fight takes place in an arena filled with small corpse enemies.

His attacks resemble those of the Wandering Wight boss, including sword swings, teleportation, and summoning illusions. You must quickly destroy the corpses before they reach the boss and heal him. To defeat him, focus on dodging his attacks and counterattacking when the opportunity arises.

After the victory, return to the 3rd bell and interact with the hanging corpse to obtain the Fireproof Mantle artifact.
