Unknown Task at the Garbage — Save the Stalker from the Anomaly: Stalker 2 Walkthrough

As usual, while exploring the open world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, gamers will come across unrelated events. Sometimes you need to help stalkers fend off bandits, and sometimes you need to rescue them from anomalies. The latter is just such a case. Below we describe how to find and complete the unknown task at the Garbage to save the stalker.

To find the guy in trouble, head to the garbage and visit the electrical substation. As expected, there are plenty of electrical anomalies around it, and right in the middle of them stands a stalker. You need to escort him to a safe place and get him out of the electrical fields. However, this is not easy to do.

Of course, the easiest way is to go through the anomalies using bolts. However, even though the stalker will say that he will follow the hero «step by step,» he will lag behind significantly. So in most cases, you will manage to run between the anomalies, but he will not. Another problem is that he may indeed follow his own route and run into anomalies.

We tried different paths and methods, but one of them turned out to be truly effective. So, when you are on the wooden crates, turn around and find the excavator. Here you can walk calmly between the anomalies, but it is still better to keep in mind that your new friend may unexpectedly change course, so go slowly.

After descending, get rid of the anomaly on the left, as it poses the greatest threat.

Then beware of the distant anomaly on the right, near the excavator. You can also get rid of it if you want to be safe. Walk along the vehicle and carefully turn right at the corner to sneak between the anomaly on the left and the excavator.
